Bill Paxton Draws on 2 Guns

Bill Paxton is in talks to join Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in 2 Guns, the Universal Pictures adaptation of the crime comic by Steven Grant and Mataes Santolouco, Variety reports.

Published in 2007 by BOOM! Studios, the miniseries follows a DEA agent and an undercover Naval Intelligence officer who, unwittingly investigating each other, team up to steal money from the mob. Unfortunately they learn too late that the $50 million actually belongs to the CIA.

Paxton, who recently starred in History Channel’s hit miniseries Hatfields & McCoys, will play a high-ranking CIA operative.

Baltasar Kormakur (Contraband) is directing from a script by Blake Masters.

You didn’t mention Paula Patton so it looks at first like you made a weird typo meaning to say Paxton again. Might wanna fix that.

I honestly liked Contraband a lot, and this sounds like a fun flick.
