New Dark Knight Rises Trailer Hits: ‘I’m Not Afraid; I’m Angry’

Nokia has premiered a new full-length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises packed with new footage from the conclusion of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, as well as a potentially spoiler-ish line of dialogue.

Opening July 20, the film stars Christian Bale as Batman, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Tom Hardy as Bane, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox.

If it weren’t for that stupid looking thing on Bane’s face, I’d have the utmost anticipation for this film. As it stands, I’m still a little worried…

You obviously no nothing about the Batman franchise then do you.

What is the spoilerish line I am missing?

  • Jim

For me it was the first line, JGL’s “So you know about me?”.

  • Braunrodman

    Ugh

  • krysmo

he said ‘so you know about him”, not ‘me’, though

  • SalsaShark42

    …?

  • Leebear

How do you work that one out?

  • ◣_◢

Sounds like a remix of Hans Zimmer’s Time from the Inception soundtrack.

  • AquaBro

Not really a spolier though is it?

    Anyway, great trailer.

I don’t think he ever mentioned that it needed to look exactly like the costume from the comics but the fact that what they are using looks fucking retarded.

I like the first two movies but this one definitely looks the least appealing.  I’ll see it but I won’t waste the money on a midnight showing like I did for the first two.

Where is the one they showed at the MTV awards? THAT was the one!

  • Drake

LOL you do that. All talk. You’ll be in the theater with all the haters. Even if it’s just so you could write a review that nitpicks at everything.

  • Mythos

I know Bane says “Mister Wayne”, but I much prefer to imagine he said “Mullet Wayne”.

Kinda can’t believe what I’m reading. I’ve seen this movie and it’s brilliant. Bane is nearly as arresting as the Joker was and the “thing on Bane’s face” has a function (which I thought everyone already had spoiled for them).

  • Jim Poop

    It’s “him.”

Ya, not sure why, but I’m over this Batman.. I’m sick of the whispering lol… And what the spoiler in the trailer? I’ve seen 90% of this already..

  • Kaniole

     I’m 100% with you.
Also, since I truly respect the angle of these movies, I persoanally hate that doesn’t work for kids, as the Spidey or Avengers movies does…
I mean, I started reading comics because the original Superman movie…!!

I’m the happiest guy when I see little kids excited with Spidey or Hulk now, hopefully DC will make movies accesible for kids again….
Again, I respect the work done, and I can tell it’s really good, but I miss the “fun/bizarre factor” that every comic product should have on it.

    I mean…why so serious? :-)

Wow you guys have no vision. With the exception of Nailsin, the rest of you haven’t got a clue. This movie will make the first two look like Schumaker directed them. This is going to be the most epic comic book movie ever made by a mile. If you’ve been paying attention at all to the first two movies and Nolan’s interpretation of the characters from the Batman rogues gallery you would have figured it out by now. Geez!
