PREVIEWS: "Daredevil," "Uncanny X-Men," & More Marvel Comics On Sale August 3, 2016
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington will lend his voice to a villainous warrior in DreamWorks Animation’s sequel to the 2010 hit How to Train Your Dragon, Variety reports.
If negotiations pan out, the 25-year-old actor will join returning cast members Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Kristen Wiig. Dean DeBlois, who co-wrote and directed the first film with Chris Sanders, will tackle the follow-up by himself.
DreamWorks has already transformed How to Train Your Dragon into a franchise, with three animated shorts, a video game, live shows, and an upcoming series on Cartoon Network called Dragons: Riders of Berk. The sequel is set for release June 20, 2014.
