I’m not seeing the movie because Captain America’s acclimation scenes were cut, but now that I know they will be added as extended scenes as below:

“Steve Rogers: Man Out of Time”

I will buy the DVD on the 09/25/12 and watch the movie for the first time then with this scene available to watch.  Of all the solo films Cap’s was my favorite and I was disheartened when I heard his subplot was cut in the Avengers film.

    Those are pretty standard prices.

I’m guessing that the council are going to be the ones interrogating Maria Hill in the alternate opening and ending, and two of the deleted scenes are also about them, so whether or not they explain more about them, it certainly seems like the plan was to do MORE with them at one point. If you forget about the Thanos teaser, internal to the film itself up until the credits roll, really, it’s the council who are being set up as the baddies of the next film.

Actually $29.99 for a DVD is high. DVDs typically come out at $19.99.

And I will enjoy the film, when it comes out on DVD.  I also have an issue where at my age my legs start to hurt if any movie I’m watching goes past 90 minutes in a theater, so at home I can press pause and probably watch the film over two nights.  With home theater available now going out to see a movie is overrated anyway, IMO.
