Any time former Lost cast members join forces, the project in question goes up a few degrees on the Geek Attention Meter. The latest re-teaming comes via next season’s NBC action/sci-fi/drama Revolution which is being produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the Dr. Juliet Burke — known in real life as Elizabeth Mitchell — will join the series as Rachel Matheson, replacing Andrea Roth who performed the role in the pilot. Mitchell plays a mother of two concerned about her children growing up in a world that has been without any and all forms of energy for 15 years.
The show also welcomes Daniella Alonso in the role of Nora, reports TVLine. Kripke described the character as “a rebel fighter battling against the militia that controls North America. And she’s got a lot of rough water under the bridge with Miles, Billy Burke’s character. And she likes to blow stuff up.” Alonso will be familiar to fans of Friday Night Lights and One Tree Hill.
Revolution is set to play Mondays on NBC, to get a look at the trailer released back in May, follow the link.
