Untitled Marvel Film Gets a Date Change

With rumors running rampant on Marvel’s mystery 2014 film, any news is good news, but fans may have to wait a while to see the next installment. Deadline reports that Disney has announced it is moving back the release date for Marvel Studios’ untitled film from May 16, 2014 to August 1, 2014.

Although no official announcement has been made about the upcoming Marvel film, rumor suggests that the 2014 release is a big-screen adaptation of Guardians of the Galaxy, which would open up the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Rumor also indicates that the film would focus on Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning and Paul Pelletier’s 2008 comic series rather than the original team created by Arnold Drak and Gene Colan.

Marvel is expected to announce its mystery movie set to debut in 2014 at this year’s Comic-Con International at San Diego.
