Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Christmas never seems as far away as it does in the hottest months of summer. While the kids pine away for presents and cold weather, Quentin Tarantino fans wait with bated breath to see the director’s take on the Western genre in Django Unchained. The film follows the adventures of Dr. Schultz (Christoph Waltz) and freed slave Django (Jamie Foxx) as they go on a mutually beneficial mission of revenge. The first official trailer dropped in June, followed close after by an international one. This new one gives U.S. audiences who don’t go on the internet much their first taste of Samuel L. Jackson in his role as Stephen.
Most of the footage has been seen in the other trailers, but Jackson’s got a bit of dialog, and we get a better look at some of the Brittle Brothers. We’ll expect more in the five months between now and the film’s release on Dec. 25.
