Axel-In-Charge: In-Depth with Alonso on Marvel's "All-New, All-Different" Lineup
AMC’s weekend marathon of The Walking Dead was capped off last night by a special live edition of Talking Dead that gave fans of the long-running comic series what they’ve been waiting for: footage of the katana-wielding Michonne in action.
The 50-second clip from the upcoming third season turns the tables on the walkers as Michonne (played by Danai Gurira) slips into a store, apparently in search of aspirin, only to give the the undead lurking inside headaches of their own. As you might expect, it gets a bit gruesome.
Gurira will appear Friday at Comic-Con International on AMC’s Walking Dead panel alongside fellow stars Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Norman Reedus, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan and David Morrissey, and executive producers Glen Mazzara, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert and Greg Nicotero. It kicks off at 1:25 p.m. in Hall H, so expect a huge crowd.
The Walking Dead returns for its 16-episode third season in October.
