Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Peter Panzerfaust, the Image Comics series that reimagines Peter Pan and his Lost Boys as resistance fighters in Nazi-occupied France, is winding its way toward television.
Comic Book Resources reports that at today’s “Image Comics Presents” panel at Comic-Con International, writer Kurtis J. Wiebe announced the title is being developed as a fully voiced motion comic that could pave the way for a BBC television pilot. According to Bleeding Cool, QT Digital and BBC Worlwide are producing.
Illustrated by Tyler Jenkins, Peter Panzerfaust centers on a mysterious American boy named Peter who rallies a handful of French orphans in Calais to oppose the German invasion of France. The series debuted in February.
