Modern-Day Sleeping Beauty

Look out. Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella, because there’s another classic fairy tale character getting a reboot in the coming years.
According to The Hollywood Reporter producer Neal Moritz is working on a modern retelling of Sleeping Beauty under his Original Film banner.
Written by Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller, the new version of the classic tale features a man waking up the titular beauty on accident only to find that he can’t get rid of her as she falls head over heels in love with him. No director has been tapped as of yet, but Moritz has a string of hits under his belt that includes Fast Five and 21 Jump Street.
