Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
After rocketing to stardom with Thor, The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman, Deadline reports Chris Hemsworth is the frontrunner to headline Steven Spielberg’s Robopocalypse.
Based on Daniel H. Wilson’s 2011 novel, the film centers on a rogue artificial intelligence that targets humans as Earth’s biggest threat. Drew Goddard of Cloverfield and Cabin in the Woods fame adapted the book for Spielberg to direct. The project is being co-financed and distributed by Fox, DreamWorks and Disney. While no one has been officially cast, the film is set for an April 25, 2014 release.
