Yancy Butler Back For <i>Kick-Ass 2</i>  

With the September start date for Kick-Ass 2 looming, the casting announcements are coming fast and furious for the sequel based on Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s comic. According to The Hollywood Reporter, new hires John Leguizamo and Donald Faison will be joined by Yancy Butler.

Butler will reprise her role as Angie D’Amico, the mother of Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s Red Mist, joining returning stars Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Mintz-Plasse.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow, the second film takes its story from the Kick-Ass 2 miniseries as well as the Hit Girl spinoff. It arrives in theaters in May 2013.
