Hot Toys Smashes With Incredibly Life-Like Avengers Hulk Figure

Hot Toys might be one of the most appropriately named companies around. The Hong Kong manufacturer has gained a well-deserved reputation for making some of the most film-accurate 12-inch scale figures. That reputation is in no danger with the just-revealed Hulk figure from the Avengers line. As you can see on the website of Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys’ U.S. distributor, the piece expertly captures the computer-generated character that stole Joss Whedon’s superhero epic.

The figure stands 16.5 inches tall and comes with rolling eyeballs that literally make the Hulk follow you around the room like the Mona Lisa. Speaking of the head, it’s based on the movie’s, which itself was modeled after actor Mark Ruffalo’s mug. The figure comes with two sets of hands, one with open palms, the other with fists ready to smash all comers. Want one? You can follow that Sideshow link up there and pre-order the $299.99 collectible that will ship in March 2013.

Just let me search in my couch cushions for the extra $300.00  Then I’m all on this!

As amazing as this is, NO action figure is worth $300.

With that level of detail it’s not really an action figure but more of an art piece. But that being said it’s still not worth $300.00.
