SDCC: Marvel's "Doctor Strange" Combats "Death and Pain" in New Trailer

Rome actor Ciarán Hinds has landed the pivotal role of Mance Rayder in HBO’s fantasy epic Game of Thrones, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Although the character doesn’t appear until the third novel in George R.R. Martin’s bestselling series, he looms large in Westeros as the King Beyond the Wall, the one-time member of the Night’s Watch who broke his vows and eventually united the wilding clans of the Far North. In the Season 2 finale of the HBO drama, Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) is was being taken to meet Rayder.
The career of the 59-year-old Hinds spans more than 30 years, and includes roles in Road to Perdition, Munich, The Woman in Black, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He most recently appeared on the USA Network miniseries Political Animals.
