Mad Men Actor John Slattery
Joins Arrested Development
Everyone’s favorite silver fox will be time traveling from his usual ’60s-era ad agency to the modern-day misadventures of the Bluthe family. TVLine reports that Mad Men star John Slattery will appear on the upcoming 10-episode fourth season of Arrested Development.
While he’s best known as the cavalier Sterling from the AMC series, he’s also played Tony Stark’s dad in Iron Man 2, and Al Kahn on Homefront. It will be very interesting to not only see what kind of character Slattery plays, but also which member of the Bluthe clan he’s hanging around with.
Announced last fall, the new season of Arrested Development will be released all at once on Netflix. The 10 episodes will catch viewers up on the whereabouts of the characters played by Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, David Cross, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and Alia Shawkat. The exact release date for the new season has yet to be revealed, but will be out some time next year. Filming kicked off earlier this month.
