"Power Rangers" Steps Into The Modern Era With First Look At Movie Suits
At Star Wars Celebration VI today in Orlando, Robot Chicken co-creators Seth Green and Matt Senreich and their collaborator Todd Grimes revealed the first footage, and the first significant details, for Star Wars: Detours, the long-discussed CG-animated comedy.
IGN reports the series, which debuts sometime next year, is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and offers a humorous take on the Star Wars universe — with many of the characters depicted in a super-deformed style. As you can see from the extended trailer below, gags include Admiral Ackbar trying to settle on a catchphrase, Han Solo donning fedora, Princess Leia demanding to be the center of attention, Obi-Wan performing stand-up.
