"Justice League": Exploring How Superman Returns (Again)
Film, Comic Books
English actor Andy Nyman has confirmed he’ll play The Tumor in Kick-Ass 2, director Jeff Wadlow’s sequel to the 2010 superhero comedy. The character is a member of the villainous team known as the Toxic Mega-cunts.
Based on Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s miniseries and the Hit-Girl spinoff, the film picks up months after the original, as Kick-Ass forms alliances with other local heroes and joins Justice Forever, which discovers the Red Mist — rechristened “Motherfucker” — is gathering his own group of villains.
Nyman, known for his roles in the films Black Death, Death at a Funeral and Severance and on the television sitcom Campus, joins returning cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Yancy Butler, along with new additions Lindy Booth, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison, Morris Chestnut and Robert Emms.
Kick-Ass 2 opens June 28, 2013.
