Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Graham Yost might be one of the busiest guys in television right now. He’s executive producing TNT’s Falling Skies as well as FX’s Justified, but he also has a slate of new series in the works — namely, FX’s Cold War drama The Americans and, as The Live Feed now reports, a period spy project for NBC.
Called L.A. Woman, the series will follow the adventures of a female spy set in 1970s Los Angeles. NBC has ordered a pilot script, which Yost will write. If the series is picked up, he’ll also serve as executive producer.
Yost is already known for his gripping drama and action shows, so it will be interesting to see what he and his crew do with a period piece like this one.
