The Walking Dead Poster Arrives: ‘Fight the Dead. Fear the Living.’

We’ve seen Comic-Con posters, a cast banner and numerous portraits and production stills, but now at long last AMC has released the official poster for the third season of The Walking Dead.

Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes again takes center stage, standing atop an overturned prison bus at the West Georgia Correctional Facility, one of two key settings for the upcoming season (the other being the nearby town of Woodbury). The phrase “Fight the Dead. Fear the Living.” would seem a perfect slogan for the upcoming episodes, which find the refugees from the Greene farm thinking they’ve found refuge from the walkers within the walls of the penitentiary, only to realize a greater threat is posed by The Governor (played by new addition David Morrissey) and his followers.

Returning Oct. 14 on AMC, The Walking Dead also stars Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Chandler Riggs, Steve Yeun, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, IronE Singleton, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney and Danai Gurira.

Kind of a boring composition there. Still hyped for season 3 though!
