Science Channel Offers First Look At Firefly Reunion Footage At NYCC

Few people in Hollywood have the ability to create characters that become so beloved by fans as Joss Whedon. People dig his shows — especially the short-lived sci-fi Western Firefly — to the point that footage of a comic convention panel featuring the show’s stars is being shown at a different convention and on national television.

This year’s Comic-Con International featured a 10th-anniversary panel reuniting Firefly cast members Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, Alan Tudyk, Sean Maher and Adam Baldwin as well as showrunner Tim Minear, writer Jose Molina and Whedon himself. Luckily for fans, the Science Channel was there with cameras rolling both on stage and behind the scenes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network will offer a first look at Firefly 10th Anniversary Browcoats Unite Oct. 13 at New York Comic Con, followed Nov. 11 by its television premiere.

    So… it’s a “NYCC exclusive” airing a program about a SDCC panel?

One you could already watch IN FULL at YouTube?

    Okay.

A Science Channel’s roundtable took place before before the team’s panel at SDCC, that we have not seen on video.  Here’s a photo :
