Why The Russos Are The Best Thing to Happen to the MCU Since Joss Whedon
Fox has unveiled the poster for the fifth and final season of Fringe showing Peter Bishop, Olivia Dunham and Walter Bishop depicted in graffiti as revolutionary icons in the year 2036, when the planet is ruled by the Observers and the former Fringe agents have become freedom fighters.
“Some of the things that I would be interested in if I was you guys asking is, ‘What happened in the time between 2015 when they were ambered and how did they get ambered and how did they end up here and what happened?’” showrunner J.H. Wyman teased at Comic-Con International. “Those things I’m really interested in answering so you can get a hold of the entire new paradigm and go, ‘This is so cool. I get it now. She was here, they were here, this happened, they were in amber – oh, my God, their daughter grew up.’ It’s a really cool connect-the-dots that we’re really thrilled about.”
Fringe, which stars Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble, returns for its 13-episode final season Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
