NYCC | Trailers: Hulk & Iron Man and Iron Man: Rise of Technovore

During the Marvel Television panel Saturday at New York Comic Con, Marvel Animation Studios debuted trailers for the direct-to-DVD animated movies Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United and Iron Man: Rise of Technovore.

Announced earlier this month, Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United follows Tony Stark and Bruce Banner joining forces to battle the classic Hulk villain Zzzax. Described as a hybrid of computer-generated animation and hand-drawn art, the April 23 release stars Adrian Pasdar (Heroes, Marvel Anime: Iron Man) as Iron Man and Fred Tatasciore (Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes) as the Hulk.

Produced by Madhouse, the studio behind the anime adaptations of Blade, Iron Man, Wolverine and X-Men, Iron Man: Rise of Technovore centers on a confrontation between Tony Stark and Ezekiel Stane, who develops bio-technology that seemingly outclasses the Iron Man armor. When Stane sets up Stark to take the fall for a terrorist attack, Iron Man must evade S.H.I.E.L.D. and clear his name. The feature-length anime, arrives next spring, boasts a cast of characters that includes Black Widow, Hawkeye, War Machine and the Punisher.

“Iron Man & Hulk” seems to have some weird animations, like Iron Man’s dodges and Hulk throwing the plane. A bit floaty, almost no fluidity. Kinda disappointing, because it has a cool style.

“Technovore” is a bit more alluring. The anime series was decent, and seeing what the hell Punisher is up to is really interesting.

Not a fan of the washed out colors and have seen better animation from a video game.

“Iron man e Hulk” Seems to have some weird animations”
True! I don’t know why Marvel insists in doing this kind of animation, there would be no problem in a little of quality in their animations…
