Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction Returning to Theaters in December

Can you believe Quentin Tarantino’s directorial debut Reservoir Dogs is celebrating its 20th anniversary later this year? To celebrate the revolutionary director’s first foray into writing and directing, Miramax will re-release the crime drama in theaters Dec. 4.

The studio also has plans to put Pulp Fiction back on the big screen a few days later, on Dec. 6. You can visit Miramax’s Quentin XX website to find the theater closest to you. Each showing also features trailers for films that influenced that particular movie as well as a documentary about Tarantino’s 20-year career.

Much like the return to theaters of Raiders of the Lost Ark, these re-releases also serve the purpose of hyping an upcoming DVD and Blu-ray box set. In this case, it’s the Quentin XX 8-disc set from Miramax which includes True Romance, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds plus two discs of special features. The set debuts on Nov. 20.
