Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Arnold Schwarzenegger might be kickstarting his action film career anew with a new Conan movie, but Sylvester Stallone has been on that path for years now. While Arnold was still signing legislation as governor of California, Stallone returned to Rambo and Rocky before creating The Expendables and now moving on to projects like an adaptation of the French comic Bullet to the Head.
The film pairs Stallone, an assassin, with a cop played by Sun Kang. The duo are going after Jason Momoa’s character, who killed both of their partners and kidnapped Stallone’s daughter, played by Sarah Shahi. The results include lots of gun play, punching and an ax fight. Christian Slater and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje also star.
Bullet to the Head debuts Feb. 1, 2013.
