Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Robert Kirkman, who’s orchestrated the grisly deaths of countless characters in The Walking Dead, will find the blood-soaked tables turned Nov. 18 as he’s devoured by zombies on Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken.
Although the writer hasn’t seen the final edit of his segment, he has the gist of how he meets his end.
“I know that I come out during some sort of argument and I try to talk about zombies for a little bit, but then I am swiftly eaten and devoured by a bunch of zombies,” Kirkman tells E! Online, which has the first peek at his appearance (above). “It’s not the biggest role and I don’t expect to be winning an Emmy anytime soon. But hopefully it will be memorable enough to have a lasting effect in the Robot universe.”
The episode marks the acting debut for the writer, who handled his own screaming. “Getting in a room and being able to scream as loud as you can in front of other people on the other side of the glass is certainly a bit awkward, but it was fun,” he says.
Robot Chicken airs Sundays at midnight on Adult Swim.
