Liam Neeson Goes Non-Stop in Movie’s Plot Synopsis

There are few things we love seeing in theaters more than Badass Liam Neeson, which is why we’re so thrilled to finally know more about his upcoming movie Non-Stop.

Also starring Julianne Moore, Scoot McNairy and Michelle Dockery, the film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who at one point was set to helm the live-action Akira adaptation. Moore’s involvement was announced in October, and we know that she will be playing Neeson’s love interest. But now we finally have a full synopsis for the movie, which was written by John Richardson and Chris Roach. Enjoy!

Coming off his smash hit TAKEN 2, Liam Neeson partners once again with UNKNOWN director Jaume Collet-Serra and producer Joel Silver. This time Collet-Serra goes a step further, plunging the audience into a movie that is at once a labyrinthine mystery, a high-octane action picture and a twist-filled Hitchcockian thriller where no one can be trusted and everyone is a suspect.

Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) is a burned-out veteran of the Air Marshals service. He views the assignment not as a life-saving duty, but as a desk job in the sky. However, today’s flight will be no routine trip.

Shortly into the transatlantic journey from New York to London, he receives a series of mysterious text messages ordering him to have the government transfer $150 million into a secret account, or a passenger will die very 20 minutes. What follows is a nail-biting cat and mouse game played at 40,000 feet, with the lives of 200 passengers hanging in the balance.

NON-STOP isn’t just an action film, but a 500mph rush of adrenaline, suspense and excitement.

Non-Stop is slated to start production in November in New York. No word yet on when it will hit theaters.

“I have a specific set of skills, and I’m going to put them in effect at 40,000 feet going 500mph. You’ll never see me coming”.

  • Michael J

It’s like the movie Speed but the thriller takes place 40,000 feet in the air.

You know what other synopsis also sounded awesome? UNKNOWN. And having watched that flick, I WISH it had been unknown to me.

Hopefully they will announce soon the character that Michelle Dockery will be playing.
