Evil Dead Poster: ‘Most Terrifying Film You Will Ever Experience’

The folks behind Evil Dead want you to know this movie is going to scare you. In fact, they want you to know it so badly that the first poster for the film touts that this is “the most terrifying film you will ever experience.”

Will it be? We’ll have to wait and see. But for now, the poster teases that bad things are coming for main character Mia (Jane Levy) just based on the way she is standing and the state of her clothes. Even if we hadn’t already seen her terrifying transformation in the Evil Dead trailer, this would be enough to tease that things don’t end well for her.

Evil Dead is a reimagining of Sam Raimi’s 1981 horror cult classic The Evil Dead. Produced by both Raimi and Bruce Campbell and directed by Fede Alvarez, the film stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci and Elizabeth Blackmore. Evil Dead is due in theaters on April 12, 2013. Here’s its official plot synopsis:

In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

This is nothing but one of those cheap exploitive GORNO movies with none of the genuine scares or humor of the original.
