Axel-In-Charge: "Secret Wars" Jam Session Talking "A-Force," "Ultimate End" and More
Here’s a fun fact: More zombies were killed with handguns on The Walking Dead than with any other weapon. Here’s another one for you: There have been 349 zombie deaths in the hit AMC series during its 27 episodes. And how about a final one for good luck: We never see Dale kill a single zombie on his own.
How do we know all these? No, we aren’t that big of The Walking Dead fans, though we do love the show a lot. We actually have the National Post to thank for putting together an excellent and enlightening infographic called “The Stopping Dead” that details how many zombies have been killed on the show, who offed them and how they did it (see the full image at the link).
It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to know that more zombies have been killed in Season 3 than seasons 1 and 2, but it did take us aback how many more walkers were slain during the second season than in the first. Remember how much we all complained about how slow that season was? Well, it still was pretty poorly paced, but at least there were plenty of zombie deaths. Of course, that season was more than twice as long as the first, but still.
The Walking Dead is currently on hiatus in its third season, so expect the amount of blue zombies in this image to get even larger. The series returns on Feb. 10, 2013.
