Major "Justice League" #50 Revelations, Changes Lead Into "DC Universe: Rebirth"
Have the two new young stars of Transformers 4 been cast? According to an unconfirmed report, they have, and we could be looking at Brenton Thwaites and Nicola Peltz as our new Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox in the series.
This news comes from Twitch and is technically still a rumor, but it aligns with what we already know about the casting process for their two roles. Peltz will reportedly play Mark Wahlberg’s daughter, while Thwaites will portray her boyfriend.
These two were already on the shortlist of actors testing for the roles. Peltz is known best for her part in The Last Airbender, while Thwaites stars opposite Elle Fanning and Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Maleficent.
Little is known about the plot of Transformers 4, though director Michael Bay did offer up some teases last month. “The movie is going to continue four years on from the attack on Chicago, which was in the last movie,” he said. “So it’s going still to have the same lineage but going in a full, new, different direction and it actually feels really natural how it is going in that direction.”
It’s been reported that the new film won’t be a reboot, but it will be very separate from the prior three Transformers movies. Transformers 4 will focus on different characters including new Autobots and Decepticons, and will potentially take place beyond Earth. The film is due out on June 27, 2014.
