Axel-In-Charge: In-Depth with Alonso on Marvel's "All-New, All-Different" Lineup
James Callis, who played Gaius Baltar for four seasons on Battlestar Galactica, has landed a guest role on The CW’s breakout superhero drama Arrow, TV Guide reports.
He’ll play The Dodger, an elusive international jewel thief who forces innocent people to carry out his crimes. When the Sherwood Ruby (yes, Sherwood) is stolen in Starling City, an investigation leads Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and John Diggle (David Ramsey) to The Dodger, but they soon find apprehending him will be more difficult than they initially thought.
It’s worth noting that a British thief named Dodger, who specialized in information and advanced technology, was introduced in DC Comics’ Green Arrow and Black Canary #7 (June 2008).
Callis will appear in the Feb. 20 episode, appropriately titled “Dodger,” which also marks the debut of Teen Wolf alum Colton Haynes in the recurring role Roy Harper, whom The CW teases is “destined to become a significant part of her life and an important player in the larger world of Arrow.”
Now on midseason hiatus, Arrow returns with new episodes Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
