What 2013 Movie Are You Most Excited About?

2013 sees at least two movies promising the end of the world (Comedies This Is The End and The World’s End), but also two movies set after the apocalypse (Oblivion and After Earth). It’s a year that has remakes of horror classics (Evil Dead, Carrie), sequels galore (New installments of The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, Kick-Ass, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and, of course, GI Joe: Retaliation) and a relaunch for Superman himself with Man of Steel. In other words, it’s a pretty packed year. But which of the movies due for release next year are you most excited about?

Thanks to the limits of the poll software, we’ve had to split the list of movies in half, so now you have two chances to vote. If it makes you feel any better, imagine that you’re making a choice for the first and second halves of the year. And, of course, if you don’t see your most-anticipated 2013 movie in the lists, feel free to use the comments to tell all.

Wow, Man of Steel has 45% of the shit. o_o
I really hope the movie does the job.

  • Ryan Sinclair

I’m looking forward to Man of Steel and Thor The Dark World more than anything. Of course I’m also VERY excited about seeing Disney’s The Lone Ranger as we know Depp won’t disappoint as Tonto the legendary Native American Spirit Walker. I’m also pretty psyched for Jack The Giant Slayer and Will Smith’s After Earth. Sam Raimi will obviously blow our minds as he takes us back to magic in Oz: The Great and the Powerful.

  • Andrew Filipe

For me it is Man of Steel as well, followed by Star Trek Into Darkness.

  • Paul

My two most anticipated are Thor: The Dark World and Pacific Rim… unfortunately I was only allowed to vote for one of them.

  • Lonewolf

I am looking forward to “Gravity” from Alejandro Cuarón. I think Children of Men was brilliant.

  • Bjarne Kristensen

As you have probably noticed by now, many are only voting once – they simply miss the second poll because you have to scroll down to see it.

  • Joe

The correct answers are Man of Steel and Sin City 2.

  • Boilingman

Damn, I realized only after voting that I missed Thor 2….
