Man of Steel Debuts First Official Photo of Amy Adams as Lois Lane

The first official photo of Amy Adams as Lois Lane — gripping an iPad, no less — in Man of Steel has finally arrived, courtesy of DesdeHollywood. I’m not sure why it’s in black and white, but it evokes some of the publicity stills of Margot Kidder from 1978’s Superman.

The image arrives just days after the first official shots of Michael Shannon as General Zod and Russell Crowe as Jor-El, both decked out in fittingly alien (and thorny) Kryptonian garb.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the Warner Bros. franchise reboot also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ayelet Zurer as Lara Lor-Van, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Antje Traue as Faora, Harry Lennix as General Swanwick and Christopher Meloni as Col. Hardy.

Man of Steel opens June 14.

Ok, but where are the first pictures of “Metropolis” Clark Kent, with the suit and the specs? Isn’t it weird we haven’t seen any or that there was not a single glimpse of it in the trailers? Is it because we won’t see that version of Clark in the movie?

    Amy Adams is always yum.

Because the pictures of Henry Cavill as Clark Kent are too old… ^^

A red-haired Lois.  Okay, I can deal.  Amy Adams is a doll and mega-talented to boot.  I can deal.

Huh… thanks! But still, no specs… I’m just curious. It seems like a basic classic concept to get your audiences coming to the movie. Particularly if the “future of the Justice League” is riding on its shoulders.
