"Supergirl" Casts its Lucy Lane
After months of delays, the Joes will finally have their vengeance!
G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the Paramount Pictures film based on Hasbro’s toy line, was originally set to premiere June 29, 2012, but was moved to March 28, supposedly so the studio could convert the film to 3D. With the looming release date, expect the full-court press when it comes to marketing. The television spots have already started appearing in the United States, but there have also been some international trailers that have a lot of familiar footage but also a few new bits.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Lee Byung-hun, RZA, Walton Goggins, Elodie Yung and Ray Stevenson. The film was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for Jon M. Chu to direct.
