SDCC: "Batman: The Killing Joke" Cast & Crew Debuts Film at Comic-Con International
Dexter Morgan’s killing spree might be coming to an end. According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS Corp. CEO Les Moonves indicated to Wall Street analysts Monday that Showtime’s serial killer drama Dexter will enter its final season this summer. The craziest part? It seems like a piece of information he wasn’t supposed to reveal just yet.
When asked about the future of Showtime, Moonves responded, “We have Ray Donovan coming on with Liev Schreiber, which comes on with Dexter’s last season starting in June and then we have Masters of Sex.” He followed the statement with a laugh that might have indicated he wasn’t supposed to say that just yet. A Showtime spokesperson later told THR there’s “nothing confirmed” about whether the series would continue beyond this season.
Dexter returns June 20.
