Arrow Promotes Colton Haynes to Series Regular in Season 2

Dodger

Teen Wolf alum Colton Haynes, who debuted as Roy Harper in the Feb. 20 episode of Arrow, has been made a series regular for the second season of The CW’s hit superhero drama. He’ll continue as a recurring guest star for the remainder of Season 1.

Introduced in the episode “Dodger,” Roy is a red hoodie-wearing petty criminal from the Glades, the most impoverished area of Starling City, who stole the purse of Oliver Queen’s sister Thea (played by Willa Holland). The character, whose DC Comics counterpart was the longtime sidekick of Green Arrow, is “destined to become a significant part of her life and an important player in the larger world of Arrow,” according to the network.

Haynes’ promotion to series regular follows that of Emily Bett Rickards, who plays fan-favorite supporting character Felicity Smoak.

Arrow, which stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, returns with new episodes Wednesday, March 20 on The CW.

Great news as his version of Roy resembles the Young Justice version. This could also mean that several characters may die at the end of the 1st season.

I like Arrow, but it really bugs me that they use nearly all of the sets left over from Smallville

For those into the show they should be grateful for that, as the cost cutting measure was probably the only way the show got initially green lit.

You mean farming out half the TV and Film industry to Canada and the other half to Australia isn’t cost saving enough?
