UPDATE: "The Flash" Hasn't Cast Savitar, Says Berlanti
TV, Comic Books
While much of Marvel movie news is dominated by Iron Man 3, it isn’t the only film featuring Tony Stark in a world of superheroes and supervillains. Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, an original direct-to-video anime movie produced by Studio Madhouse in conjunction with Marvel, hits DVD/Blu-ray April 16 and sees Iron Man and War Machine go up against Ezekiel Stane, who has developed a deadly new bio-technology.
Marvel has released a new trailer for the animated feature that gives a better look at what to expect from the film, with appearances by many other Marvel mainstay heroes including Black Widow, Hawkeye, the Punisher, Nick Fury and Pepper Potts.
Iron Man: Rise of Technovore is the latest in the line of anime collaborations between Madhouse and Marvel. The two previously released a series of programming on G4 with the Marvel Anime banner, including shows based on Iron Man, X-Men, Wolverine and Blade.
Rise of Technovore stars Matthew Mercer as Iron Man, Norman Reedus as The Punisher and Clare Grant as Black Widow.
