Christopher Nolan has a way with actors, and after performing in one of his movies, the thespians tend to come back for more. Just look at his three Batman films, which all feature Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman. Bale and Caine also appeared in The Prestige, while Inception stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard all showed up in The Dark Knight Rises. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, The Dark Knight Rises star Anne Hathaway is in talks to re-team with the director in his next film, Interstellar.
Little is known about the film, which was originally written by Jonathan Nolan for Steven Spielberg . With Christopher Nolan now in the director’s chair, he took his own pass at the script, which is based on the wormhole-based time travel theories of physicist Kip S. Thorne.
The Warner Bros./Paramount Pictures co-production is also circling Matthew McConaughey to star as Cooper, one of the travelers on a ship that will traverse space and time. Interstellar is set to begin filming on Nov. 7, 2014.
