"Rowdy" Roddy Piper Reported Dead at 61
Universal Pictures has released the final trailer for Fast & Furious 6, the latest installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. The trailer gives the best look at the sequel’s story to date, as Diplomatic Security Service Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) confronts professional criminal Dominic “Dom” Toretto (Vin Diesel), offering him and his crew a deal to help him take down a mercenary organization led by criminal mastermind Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) and Dom’s ex-girlfriend Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), believed dead. The trailer highlights the action inherent in the street-racing franchise with explosions, hand-to-hand combat and of course, fast cars.
Directed by Justin Lin from a script by Chris Morgan, Fast & Furious 6 marks the return of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jin Au-Yeung, Gal Gadot and Elsa Pataky to The Fast and the Furious series alongside newcomers Gina Carano, Luke Evans, Jason Statham and more. The film opens May 24.
