Thor and Captain America Sequels Debut New Still and Concept Art

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly is a treasure trove of Marvel movie news, providing not only confirmation that Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch appear in Joss Whedon draft for The Avengers 2 but also official word that Zoe Saldana has been cast in Guardians of the Galaxy. However, it’s not finished there.

Contained within the magazine’s multi-page feature on Marvel’s Phase Two plans is a new still of star Chris Hemsworth from Thor: The Dark World and concept art for Captain America: The Winter Soldier that shows Bucky Barnes (played again by Sebastian Stan) grasping Cap’s shield with his cybernetic arm.

He still keeps the cybernetic arm. Awesome, was kind of thinking they might ignore that part. Also really like the mask their using in the concept art, won’t mind one bit when that element starts appearing in the comics.

I almost wonder if the 1st fill trailer for Cap 2 will just reveal that Winter Soldier is Bucky? I mean its one of those things that anyone who reads comics will know. Or will they actually try to keep it secret for the whole marketing process leading up to the films release?

That’s probably what the mask is for. Then they’ll go through the whole movie and finally reveal it to be none other than… Agent Coulson!

I think the mask is more for Cap then us, you don’t want steve rodgers to immediately be like “BUCKY?!”. But i’m not going to be surprised if they just flagrantly reveal that it’s bucky early on in promotions for the film

they will keep the bionic arm, cool. But I don’t really see the purpose of the mask. They should just reveal that Bucky is the Winter Soldier early in the movie. I don’t think that it’s gonna be the twist of the whole movie.

It reminds me too much of Harry Osbournes Goblin costume from Spiderman 3
