REVIEW: Violent, Profane "Deadpool" Shouldn't Work, But Really F---ing Does
After a sneak peek at the full-length Ender’s Game trailer and the first look at Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rachkham earlier this month, Summit Entertainment has released the first full-length trailer for director Gavin Hood’s adaptation of author Orson Scott Card’s popular science fiction novel.
The trailer, which heavily features stars Asa Butterfield and Harrison Ford, also gives a glimpse of what to expect from the film’s take on the book’s core concepts — including the final battle with the Buggers (an alien race battling for supremacy with humans), the hallways of Battle School and its children’s army uniforms and the hi-tech battle room that pits Battle School students against each other in a display of supremacy and skill.
Based on the novel by Orson Scott Card and directed by Gavin Hood, Ender’s Game stars Asa Butterfield as Ender Wiggin, Harrison Ford as Colonel Hyrum Graff, Sir Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham, Abigail Breslin as Valentine Wiggin, Hailee Steinfeld as Petra Arkanian, Viola Davis as Major Gwen Anderson and more. The film hits theaters Nov. 1.
