Why The Russos Are The Best Thing to Happen to the MCU Since Joss Whedon
Tom Cruise apparently has no intention of slowing down. The 50-year-old superstar just had a good deal of success with his sci-fi actioner Oblivion, which has earned $222 million worldwide, and he has plenty of projects in the works — The Man From U.N.C.L.E., All You Need Is Kill and Our Name Is Adam, for starters.
No writer or director has been announced, but word has been that Cruise will re-team with director Christopher McQuarrie. The two first worked together on Valkyrie, which McQuarrie wrote for Bryan Singer to direct. McQuarrie also directed Cruise in Jack Reacher, which grossed nearly $217 million worldwide. Just recently The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that McQuarrie will be helming a remake of Ice Station Zebra for Warner Bros., although neither film has a set start date or estimated release.
