Pak, Kuder Uncover The "Truth" About "Action Comics" Post-"Convergence"
The teaser for the upcoming fourth season of Arrested Development has arrived, and it’s chock full with some hilarious moments from what’s sure to be another stellar run. The teaser is loaded with nods to the original three seasons in addition to some great new running gags, and it shows the characters’ development has indeed been arrested over the past seven years.
Interestingly, the trailer opens with Michael Bluth finally getting to Phoenix, a city he’d long threatened to leave his family for. But considering the rest of the teaser has the Bluth family together again (with the stair car, no less), it seems like a reunion is still on the horizon.
Netflix will premiere all 15 episodes of Arrested Development on May 26, with the expectation that many fans will binge-watch the much-anticipated new season in one sitting. Each of the episodes will focus on a different character instead of taking place chronologically. The new episodes will feature the return of central actors Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walters, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, Michael Cera and David Cross, while other recurring favorites like Judy Greer, Liza Minelli and Mae Whitman will also reprise their roles.
In addition to the classics, new additions like Conan O’Brien, Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Isla Fisher, Terry Crews, John Slattery and the cast of Workaholics will make appearances. Rogen revealed to Spinoff Online at WonderCon that he shot his scenes with Wiig, who will be portraying a young Lucille Bluth.
