Down Rabbit Hole with First Look at Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
ABC has released the first photos from its Once Upon a Time spinoff, helpfully titled Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, which will air this fall as part of the network’s Thursday lineup.
Developed by Once Upon a Time creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, Wonderland is set in Victorian England, where young Alice (Sophie Lowe) tells stories about about a strange new land on the other side of a rabbit hole populated by an invisible cat, a hookah-smoking caterpillar and talking playing cards. With her doctors determined to cure her, Alice appears ready to put Wonderland behind her, especially the memory of the mysterious Cyrus (Peter Gadiot), the genie she fell in love with and lost forever. But in the nick of time, the Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and White Rabbit (voiced by John Lithgow, instead of the previously reported Paul Reubens) arrive to save her, taking her tumbling back down the rabbit hole.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT this fall on ABC.
