Will James Bond Get Dark Knight Treatment From Nolan?

Although Skyfall earned critical acclaim and $1.1 billion in worldwide ticket sales, director Sam Mendes announced in March that he won’t return for the next Bond film. Who then might helm Bond 24?

Well, according to The Daily Mail, it could be acclaimed Batman trilogy director Christopher Nolan, whom the newspaper contends is in early talks with Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Nolan is working on his next project, Interstellar, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. Broccoli and Wilson don’t want to wait too long, so while Nolan’s schedule may not allow him to make Bond 24, these talks could lay the groundwork for a collaboration down the road.
