SPIDER-MANDATE: The Lowe-down on "Secret Wars," Tie-Ins and Stacey Lee
It would have been big enough news Tuesday for Microsoft to unveil its new Xbox One, but the software giant also announced that Steven Spielberg will serve as executive producer for a new live-action Halo TV series available on the console.
Halo debuted back in 2001 from Microsoft and Bungie, but is now handled by 343 Studios, which created the most recent installment Halo 4. The franchise revolves around Master Chief and his gang of space marines as they take on aliens with less than noble intentions for humanity. Details about the series itself are scarce, but expect lots of big guns, armor and exploding aliens.
