AMC Renews "Preacher" for Season 2
TV, Comic Books
Kick-Ass 2 might not have the same kind of cache with the public that fellow superhero films enjoy, but the Jeff Wadlow-directed sequel looks to be up to the challenge of remedying that.
The new film finds Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Dave “Kick-Ass” Lizewski and Chloe Grace Moretz’s Mindy “Hit-Girl” Macready trying to live their respective lives, which happen to include a new team of costumed vigilantes led by Jim Carrey’s Colonel Stars and Stripes, and one-time ally Chris D’Amico (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) rechristening himself as the villainous Motherfucker and putting together his own gang.
The following international trailer is nearly identical to the one from April with a bit less footage, some subtitles and Christopher Mintz-Plasse dropping his character’s F-bomb moniker.
Kick-Ass 2, based on the comics by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., hits theaters Aug. 16.
