Axel-In-Charge: "Secret Wars" Jam Session Talking "A-Force," "Ultimate End" and More
One of the most fertile minds in Hollywood history is returning to the small screen … nearly 40 years after his death.
Deadline reports that Rod Serling’s final screenplay, called The Steps Along The Way, has been acquired by Bad Robot. Instead of turning the story into a film, however, J.J. Abrams’ production company is looking to create a limited-event television series that will be shopped around later. While little is known about the story, Serling referred to it as “lovely.” He passed away four months later on June 28, 1975.
No stranger to the TV game, Bad Robot produced Fringe and also has four shows in the works for next season, including newbies Almost Human and Believe along with returners Revolution and Person of Interest.
