Vince Vaughn & Peter Billingsley Adapting Image’s Term Life

term life Vince Vaughn is shifting from comedy to action for his next project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Internship star will reteam with Couples Retreat director Peter Billingsley for an adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel Term Life.

Written by A.J. Lieberman (Cowboy Ninja Viking) and drawn by Nick Thornborrow (Dragon Age: The World of Thedas), the comic focuses on a universally despised man who takes out a million-dollar life-insurance policy to benefit his daughter after he realizes that just about everyone he knows wants him dead. The catch? He has to stay alive for 21 days for her to get the money.

Vaughn will star while Billingsley will direct, and both will executive produce the Universal Pictures release.
