"Gotham's" Azrael Will Be 'Different Than Anything We've Seen in Comics,' Says EP
After teasing us with a photo of Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel and a poster of Martin Freeman’s Frodo at the doors to the Kingdom Under the Mountain, Warner Bros. delivers with the first trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
The trailer not only gives us the first footage of Orlando Bloom reprising his role as Legolas, whom we’re led to believe carries a flame for Tauriel, we get our first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug himself. Also: plenty of Dwarves, Elves, barrels, butterflies, Bard the Bowman, Dale and a giant spider. Not bad for a teaser trailer, really.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug arrives Dec. 13.
