"The Flash" Adds "Harry Potter" Star Tom Felton as Series Regular
Ryan Reynolds is headed down the Mississippi.
Deadline reports the Green Lantern and R.I.P.D. star has been cast in Mississippi Grind, a gambling drama from writer-directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden. It tells the story of a gambler on a losing streak who tries to change his luck by joining up with a young gambling addict on a road trip through the South. Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn, who appeared in The Dark Knight Rises as bad-guy businessman John Daggett, is set to co-star.
Fleck and Boden are the writing and directing team behind the Ryan Gosling-starring Half Nelson and the Zach Galifianakis-led It’s Kind of a Funny Story. They were reportedly in the running to direct Guardians of the Galaxy before James Gunn landed the job.
